For our anniversary this year, Shane was in the middle of studying for finals (still is) and we didn't have a lot of options since it was a Grenadian national holiday and almost everything closed down. We decided we didn't want to get each other anything here since it's all so expensive, so we are planning on celebrating our anniversary a little bit more once we get back to the states. I mean Shane did make me breakfast and I did leave him a nice letter in his lunch so that was fun! Anyway, lucky for us, Umbrellas stayed open for the holiday so we could at least go on a date that night! We've been wanting to eat at Umbrellas for awhile but every time we decided to go something came up. This is one of the more "Americanized" restaurants serving things like burgers, fries, sandwhiches and salads and the prices are very good (comparable to the states)!

We sat on the roof which overlooked the ocean. It was so beautiful as always.

Shane came to the conclusion that they probably had the umbrellas and then named the restaurant instead of the other way around...haha so funny Shane!
The food was delicious!
So was the Strawberry Daiquiri and Chocolate Milkshake! After dinner, we walked on the beach and watched the sunset, sounds like something from a movie huh?! Who would've thought we'd spend not only one but TWO anniversaries on a caribbean island?
When we came home we played with our little guy for a little while (thanks Kensi for watching him), put him to bed, and then had dessert. Homemade blackberry cheesecake with some sparkling cider!
It was a great anniversary! Thanks for being married to me Shane and for an amazing 3 years!
